Who We Are
The members and friends of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church of Medina, Ohio are a welcoming and caring congregation. We are known for our outreach into the community... loving and sharing with those in need.
Our Mission
Our small groups strive to reflect our mission statement: LIVING GOD'S LOVE (LGL). We believe that this simple statement captures the call of our parish to exhibit Christ’s love in all we say and do. That is, to spread God’s contagious love within our faith community, and, within our communities, workplaces and playgrounds.
What We Believe
We confess the Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We respond in faith to the call of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel, desiring to unite together to preach the Word, administer the sacraments, and carry out God’s mission.
St. Matthew is a Lutheran congregation; a member of the Northeastern Ohio Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).
